[OFFER]Photo Report Air & Water VW Mania 2004 in Mechele

I've been to the VW and Audi meeting in Mechelen (county Antwerp) today. There were lots of cars, I love the old golf's :D, there was one out of 1974 still in perfect condition. Very cool car that is. My grandmother owns a 25 year old Golf, it is a 1.3L and has an automatic gearbox :)
Besides the old Golf's and the rest of the range I was eager to see the Passat's and the Audi's.
The pitty thing is that lots people had already left at the time we got there :? But nevertheless, it was a great carshow, I enjoyed it alot.
There were lots of VW and Audi Fans of Germany and the Nederlands, besides them there were many VW-tuners out the U.K. as well, and OOH MY GOD did they bring some great cars with them 8)
Cool lads drive cool cars :) I've made a little chat with an English guy who drives a Passat (a dark-green one with fat Keskin wheels).

I don't have any problem with that, aslong as it stays in the family it is ok 8) Car tuning is a personal thing of course, but you see that quite often these days, that they fit a VW with Audi alloys. I'm a big fan of those huge A8 wheels, although that I would never place those under my car; reason being: Those wheels are much big. I just want to say that I like the wheel itself, a very very nice design that is.

eg: I like this combination alot > http://users.pandora.be/jokke1/G.VW%...echelen/11.jpg
Those wheels are 18" in size, the 19" model would be too big. And of course with a lowering suspension it would be alot better.

I think that a nice VW car with some Audi wheels make a perfect couple

Thanks for your opinion

Cheers
