the most proficient Opel sporty model from 1984

Just id like to get which opel or vauxhall named model has been your favourite sporty opel model from 20 years now, and why, since from 20 years to now on we can get quite a wide variety of cars such as the Astra GTE/GSI 16V in three generations, the Opel Calibra Turbo, the Vectra Turbo, the corsa OPC, the Astra OPC......excluding the Lotus Omega where the car is in another league

There you go my veredict:

either Opel Omega 3000 (the ordinary 3000, the 3000 24V, or the 3000 24V Evolution)

simply for me it has been the most sportive and proficient Opel model almost ever since the car has a brilliant engine, a great chassis, good brakes, fun to drive, its nimble even it has a long wheelbase, a beautiful shape....

It's pretty recent but the VX220 Turbo.

Excluding the Lotus Omega, I´d say the Calibra Turbo for its beautiful shape -it´s a real coupé and it was quite stunning when it came out.
In 10 years this will be a sought-after model, if you can find one (without rust...)

Ditto Calibra. Still looks fresh even today. Stock vectra/cavalier mechanicals means they run for ever and parts are supercheap. Does not handle unfortunately.

I also have to admit lusting after an Opel Monza when i was about 10 years old :-?
