is it an official import or gray market?

Official, its really rare, I mean, those cars were driven like 3 or 4 months, then they change it for another one, the guy from the lotus, leaved it there and bought a Porsche 993, lots of money circulate there...

which version is it cause they haven't started officialy importing the new ones to the US yet but very soon, I've seen a few gray market versions around but never an official only the Esprit.

We have the an official Lotus Brand here in Mexico here in Monterrey they have like 5 in the Lotus Stand, 4 Elises and a used Esprit, I didnt now Lotus wasnt offical in the US

Lotus is official but not the Elise only the Esprit and the older cars and you can buy Exige Race Cars but that's it. The Elise won't be here for a few months or sooner not sure about the official date. Until now the Elise was imported to the states as either a race car or a kit car and they are extremely rare but it is possible to buy a fully supported and legal Espri from a dealer.

i once knew this guy at mty with a yellow 111s, it was awsome!! and it had plates from there, he was in the club (the one in mmy sig) but he was just there 4 a short time... anyqays i like that car alot, but i insist fabro, why dont u go to that other place? the one close to the fatima church they even had a lambo there once...

actually the elise is shipping right now..... i went to a lambo/lotus dealer to check out the elise and they should be in toward the end of the month (ish)....
