Need Help On Car Project
 

Alright guys, I have been wanting to do this for quite some time and after joining the forum I can tell there is a great knowledge base to get this thing off the ground. What I want to do is create a organization chart/flow chart of all the car companies and which car company owns which brand. Ex: Ford (at the top) owns Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, Etc. I think if everybody pitches in we could create a handy reference material for those interested. Let me know what you think.

VW owns Audi, Bentley, and Lamborghini? (True?) (Well I believe Audi owns Lamborghini, and since VW owns Audi...)

BMW owns...Rolls and Mini?

Toyota owns Lexus

Nissan owns Infinity

GM took over Saab?

Its really interesting, but dont forget to put the logos to of each mark, and in my knowledge Daimler/Chrysler owns Mitsubishi, Hyundai, dodge, jeep
Ford owns aston martin, Lotus, Land Rover, Jaguar, Mazda, Lincoln, Mercury, and Volvo

well this is a really comlicated thing to do but if you go to corporate sites you can usually find most of their brands.

try speedycars.net their wallpaper section is organize by the head company then smaller division.
