The past week in Lausanne. Porsches, almost missed 612...
Yup another week in Lausanne.. and again, true gems were hard to spot... and when I crossed the first Scaglietti on the road, I had the camera turned down.. the bitch :D luckily I took at least a rearview mirror shot just as a proof :D
Tomorrow I hope for lot of sun so I can spend some time around in search of ppl taking out their beasts only on Sunday ;) Sadly not many high-res since I took all the pics while behind the wheel so not many of them were really perfect... The first S4 cabrio I saw in the metal outside a motorshow: http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...cabrio-med.jpg Yet another Focus RS! http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...ocusrs-med.jpg And a couple of 996 A Carrera 4 http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...schec4-med.jpg And a Turbo http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...96trbo-med.jpg As for the "signature sized ones": Obviously at least a new M3 is added to the collection every week ;), and BTW, this very picture is the 700th in my "cars of lausanne" collection ;) http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...00bmwe46m3.jpg An S2000 Mk I.. pretty big mufflers.. http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...hondas2000.jpg And an Mk II if I'm not wrong.. or am I? Sadly both S2000 were shoot in my rearview mirror... http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...hondas2000.jpg A Carrera 4S http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...sche996c4s.jpg And RS6 http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...705audirs6.jpg And here is the Scaglietti :( not only into the mirror, but very far away http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...ferrari612.jpg And check out the original picture (resized of course): http://www.pifiu.com/upload/uploads/052004/mirror35.jpg Pretty rare... a white SL55.. terrible reflection on the windshield, sorry http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...dessl55amg.jpg Passat W8.. they didn't sell very well... http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...vwpassatw8.jpg An EVO VI http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...ancerevovi.jpg And an H2 http://www.jabbasworld.net/photopost...12hummerh2.jpg BTW, there was a topic about the Phaeton, wondering if it was a complete disaster or not :D well... as for the number of vehicles sold, yes it was... to see a Phaeton is WAY more rare than to see a Ferrari, but the other day, in the same day, I got two :D http://www.pifiu.com/upload/uploads/...vsphaeton1.jpg http://www.pifiu.com/upload/uploads/...vsphaeton2.jpg And finally, two pics I took at night after the Portugal vs England match. I was just taking back a rented DVD since as you may know, I don't care about football and we preferred to watch a movie, but since there were lot of Portuguese fans around, it was a nice occasion for some light trails :D Sadly I wasn't planning to take pics so I had no tripod.. http://www.pifiu.com/upload/uploads/052004/night08.jpg http://www.pifiu.com/upload/uploads/052004/night09.jpg Enjoy :D |
some of the pics are repaeated but still quite a nice collection.

pretty good light trails for a "no tripod" shoot, what's the shutter speed on those ones ?
|
Whops! Fixed now ;)

i like the last two. |
Nice pics :) why does the S4 have those wheels??
Too bad for the Scaglietti but I´m sure another one isn´t too far away |
there is a Phaeton W12 in my neighboorhood it is very good looking and the interior is amazing but im pretty sure the car is owned by the VW dealership owner
