1/32 Enzo refinish and detail...
My second of 2 attempts at super-detailing/refinishing a model car in about 12 years.
Enzo I managed to get a hold of one of the Carrera Enzo's - and it has superb detail - but I was quite dissapointed with the red plastic finish. So I refinished it in Tamiya Italian Red. It was quite a job masking the bandges and disassembling the car for the paint job. I am sorta satisfied with it - but a couple specs of dust crept onto the nose as I was doing the clear coat and it is in too precarious of an area to risk rubbing the car down again and possibly damaging the note emblem. http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_01.jpg http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_02.jpg http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_03.jpg http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_04.jpg http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_05.jpg http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_06.jpg http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_07.jpg http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_08.jpg Finished (minus mirrors) http://media.rc45.net/slotcars/enzo_09.jpg The next 3 cars are going to be a 360CS, an F40LM and an F50GT. |
