5th Gear cars tested for lap times cooler than Top Gears
 

Hiya.....i just see more interesting to lap quite affordable cars from 5th gear, such as Mini Cooper, Skoda Fabia RS, Ford Focus RS, Seat Leon Cupra R, etc.............rather than the Top Gears one, although they test the most exclusive cars that exist in the market or in the planet....do members agree with my statement?

No! I don't like tests of normal cars, there's a reason all magazines and programs show the dream cars. It's what I like...

Yeah, dream cars are more interesting because we dont get to see them everyday.

I agree too, supercars is f***ing much cooler to watch.
I hope they will test the Enzo :D

The laps on Top Gear and 5th Gear are just so different, it's hard to compare. I love the supercar tests on Top Gear for obvious reasons but the laps with the ford transit (yes, it was great!) or hot diesel hatches were fun to watch too. Probably cause Tiff did the impossible task of pushing crappy cars around the track. Sometimes I do think Tiff or the Stig are just fearless. Powersliding or going off track in a truck is just crazy!

i like how the lap times are presented on 5th gear more then top gear. its almost like WRC coverage of comparison shots...but really, supercars get it in my book :wink:

The coverage for 5th gear is awesome, although, it seems like it shouldnt be taken seriously for some reason. Maybe cos Tiffs almost always sideways :P

No way ... top gear is much better , but it would be awesome if they replace Stig for Tiff

I think it´s always better to see high-speed sportscars tested around the track. :)

Do u really want to see a Corolla or even worse, an Echo driving around a test track. Who cares if those cars are in the 1:50s in the topgear track.

(ok fine, maybe u are not talking about those shitty cars I mentioned, but I hope u see my point)

It is BECOZ we can't afford those cars, that IS why we love to see it got driven the at the limit on a track.

Top Gear might have the better cars but for some reason I enjoy Tiff´s driving much more. BTW that thing with the Transit and the Sprinter was the coolest :fadein:
