Remote Control Exotics
 

When i was a kid i remember one year my father got me the coolest gift you can give a young boy, he gave me an electric powered twin motor lambo countach. I loved this thing to death, and i mean that literally. I drove the thing like wild but was always careful not to really screw it up. Well that all changed one day when i was trying to top the thing out and it got out of range while it was really moving fast. Needless to say the vehicles alignment wasn't perfect and once it lost steering painfully watched it glide in to the curb at nearly top speed. Anyone who had one of these know about how frail and weak those plastic bodys were so the only expected result was BAM :!: Explosion of plastic. Front was gone scrape plate was toast drivers side control arms snapped along with the steering. BUMMER I myself would like to find remote control cars, like The enzo , Lambo Gallardo, Lotus, and so on.
Does anyone have a good website for rc cars that would have these kinds of cars available ?

Peacenriot69, you can pick up the shell practically anytime and anywhere. You really gotta look out for a chassis that suites your needs ;)

autoexotica.com has all kinds of radio controlled exotics. Looking at their catalog, they have a F40, Enzo, 360, Murcielago, Gallardo and a Carrera GT. They aren't habby scale RC's though. As in break it and your fucked.

Otherwise, start browsing towerhobbies.com, they have just about every RC thats available.

Hey ngudan.. How much would these retail for .. and the Enzo looks neat.. Do you know whether is it electric or gas?

i thiink thayr about 500, and com on u can clearly tell that electric, but i can also findo some nitro ones (gas), but if ur starting i dont recomend them alot

Hey oscargarza88, I used to have about 15-16 of RC Cars, still have most of them but they're not working, some doesnt have the battery pack, some doesnt even have the remote etc etc. But the last RC car I drove was when I was 15 and I used to be pretty good with em' (I am 25 now). Though the Hobby is 'Ressurecting' I dont want a slow moving Electric car. If there are Fast Electrics out there I wouldnt mind ReStarting or Practicing on them and then moving on to a Gas. I would be much obliged if you can guide me on this. :) Thanks.

If you want a fast electric, you've got to go with brushless motors. Gotta warn you though, they are quite expensive.
I've seen a twin brushless motor Emaxx do 70MPH. Pretty impressive for a 15lb monster truck! The only problem is they have got enough power to chew up differentianls and spur gears. I've even seen them break steel driveshafts.
Being 25 years old, I'm sure you've got some simple mechanical and engine knowledge. Don't let them scare you, nitro powered RC's really aren't that difficult. They do require a bit of putzing to get them to run their best, but it really isn't very hard. the only real difference, is that a nitro RC will require a bit more maintenance. Take care of the engine, and run it properly, you'll have very few problems.

maybe a bit late but if you want, look at this site, they're selling bodies appart for different sort of scale, I myself have bought a viper for a superten scale and the S4 avant for a 200mm scale, so I you buy a standart 1/10 scale electro or nitro car you can fit one one their body on it! I think some look very cool!
