4 sale: Hamster's Porker

A very observant member of PH spotted a red Porsche to be auctioned on E-Bay.
> 1982 Porsche 911 SC
> colour red
> previous owner: alledgedly Richard Hammond

So you can rest assured it has had the crap beat out of it since the day it arrived... ;)

BADMIHAI 05-29-2004 03:16 PM

Bloody hell. I just wish I had the money!

astonmartinandy 05-29-2004 03:43 PM

Don't think I would spend my money on that. Apart from the fact you know Hammond would have given it a good running, no service history isn't ideal and LHD rules out overtaking in the UK!!

TT 05-29-2004 05:34 PM

So it is true :( he sold it! I'm curious to know if he really got a muscle car :D

PATo355 05-29-2004 05:40 PM

Hahaha , yes TT it seems like the idea of selling it to buy the Muscle Car was not a joke , the car looks very mint , take a look at the interior , its flawless

I'm sure he's got a bit more money than they make out on top gear as he seems to have been on tv alot recently over here- i even saw him giving photography advice on one programme. i really hope he gets his dream car and while he might not be a on the same pay as clarkson he can be quite entertaining and i hope he stays with top gear :D

The figure an amazing £200,000...I knew he was doing well...but I had no idea that he was making enough to shell that sort of money out.

With this buying a £100000 Ford GT and i think he wants a DB9 AMV8 oh and don't forget the SL55 AMG

PATo355 05-29-2004 06:07 PM

Does anybody have ANY episode ripped of his talk show program ? I bet its hillarious , i enjoy a lot when watching Clarksons guests

Anonymous 05-29-2004 06:14 PM

i seem to remember him doing some very entertaining things like making a potato cannon with hairspray and microwaving random stuff sadly i didn't have a tv card back then- i would guess it was around the year 2000. I don't think it lasted long maybe 2 series? jabba might know, he seems to be our oracle on all things clarkson :P
