alrighty...so you've got a picture of a 360 Modena with CS wheels below the car you're arguing is the best...what am I to make of that?

Caps8419 05-24-2004 01:46 AM

ah...... read the first few words..... "BESIDES ferarris".... so i believe i am fully justified in having a nice modena as my sig. and see what u guys think of tuscans as my second dream car...... read carefully my friend :D

Vansquish 05-24-2004 02:30 AM

I did read them hehe...I was just giving you a bit of a hard time, sorry bout that...at any rate...they're both lovely cars, though I'd have to say I prefer the T350 and Sagaris to the Tuscan. The Tuscan is a bit of a bargain compared to most other cars of its performance caliber and it has more shocking styling than most of its competitors, I can't get enough of any of them hehe.

That particular car belongs to a guy on pistonheads. Reg is great: UR 02 SLO

Tumbler 05-24-2004 12:01 PM

i agree with thamar

any dickhead can buy a ferrari... but only a car enthusist will buy a tuscan

plus a tuscan will humble a 360 for half the price

Caps8419 05-24-2004 12:03 PM

yes he does belong to pistonheads.... i dont recall his name and yes his reg is bad ass... i enjoy tuscans they have more of a "custom" made feel to them.... not knocking ferarri but obviously tvr sells much less volume of cars a year..... they dont even sell in the US. so i guess even if i really wanted one, i coulnt get it anyway.... both cars are spectacular.

skituner 05-24-2004 08:28 PM

i love the tuscan
tvr is one of the best kept secrets in the automotive world
i would prefer one over a ferrari cause of the price, the performance, and the look you get when people have never seen one before

have any mags done road test on tvr's?

Caps8419 05-24-2004 11:35 PM

um... evo has done one i think....they dont really show up much in car mags.... not at all in US. car mags... its a shame.... they'd embarass every porsche owner (cept the carerra gt)... there's a reason people who own tvr's call porsches "porkers".... hehe

I think you forgot about those things called GT3 and GT2...
Yes, the TVRs have a much better power/weight, but their suspension technology just isn't as refined as that of Porsches, and how could they - Porsche can spend amounts of money on testing and finetuning the handling that TVR propably can't even spend to develop a model.

Did anyone check out the vid of tiff in california when they tested the TVR Tuscan at the stunt man training complex? Best part of that video is the attempted 720 while staying in one lane. Didnt pull it off in the tuscan but still Pretty sick stuff , The Tvr is definily a cool lookin car, and from what i hear at top gear is that this car is going to be in some movie with Travolta coming up soon, so its another car star for hollywood.

Caps8419 05-25-2004 05:24 PM

no i didnt forget the gt2 or gt3... a tuscan S would kill both those cars... probably would have slightly more trouble with the gt2 but hey! sorry if i offended you porsche lovers..... yea i got that video w/ tiff its pretty cool....

really, i didnt know there bringing the tuscan back for another travolta movie.... the only other film they brought a tuscan here was the looney tunes movie..... and no im not a loser for watching the looneytunes movie.... i watched for the car..... hehe..

True, and then you can just burn them...wait for the T350C Targa...Too many pretentious people buy Ferraris IMO.

Caps8419 05-25-2004 09:47 PM

yea i know, actually peace, i think this stunt driving thing is pretty old and the movie they were talking about was actually swordfish not a new one... unless topgear said soemthing recently.....
yep there is a bright silver tuscan S in the looney tunes movie (with brendan frasier SP?) look up "looney tunes back in action" its that movie and its fairly new, i think this year maybe.....
