Erez_Avital, you can take McGill off your list as it is in Montreal which is a good 6 hour drive away drom Toronto. As well take away Ryerson, Trent, and McMaster as they are just not very good at all. UOIT doens't fit what you want and neither will Waterloo as it is Canada's premier engineering school, it is the MIT of Canada and regularly destroys all US engineering schools at all the canada vs. USA competitions. I would advise from that list would be Wilfrid Laurier, Queen's and U of T. But another business school that is close to Toronto which you did not include is Western University, which is situated in London, Ontario about one hour or less away fro Toronto, this is Canada's premier business univeristy and it has probably the best MBA program as well in Canada.

Another choice maybe the University of Ottawa where I graduated with honours from the school of management (business) it's the same thing. This past year the U of O. business program(undergrad) finished overall first out of 24 schools at the Canada Business Games where they pit all of Canada's business schools against each other. Ottawa is about one million residents and a fantastic place to live and play especially for a university student with lots of places to drink and cause havoc at. As well Montreal is only 11/2 hour away and there are tons of cars in Ottawa especially Porsches. That is myadvice, good luck with your selection.

York has the best business school in canada if not north america (schulich) but is very competitive to get into, and York as told to me by a friend is the 2nd hotest school in north america (2nd to UCLA) 1 out of every 2 girls is hot :D

toronto, York's business school is for grad students only and you only get in with who you know and your marks have to be all above 95%, but Western is where everyone goes who is anyone in business. Same with all of Canada's business programs for a top school, right now, one must have an average above 90% just to be able to apply and for the school administration not to throw your paper in the trach can when they read it. It is extremely competitive in Canada, as our school system in only second to Britain, Japan, and perhaps some other country in Europe and that is it. Canada is so far ahead of the USA it isn't even funny.

I see you have only english Universities in your selection Erez_Avital. Me, I suggest you a suberb french University in Montréal (HEC), where there is tons of chicks, all the books are in English and you can do your works in English.

I currently go to York University and York's Schulich program is one of the best business programs in the world. Unfortunately it is very hard to get into because they only take the best of the best. Another benefit about York as toronto mentioned is that we were ranked by Playboy as the second best school in North America for hottest girls. I can verify that this claim is very true!

ok a little update.. :D someone i know (israeli as well..) that did what i want.. went to canada to study.. he's helping me a lot.. he's in york in his 3rd year.. and he gave me some great tips and info.. and the only thing i'm not sure of are my grades.. and if they will be good to get in.. but well see.. (maybe i could take tests or something..) hope thing will work out and i could joing you all up there ;) maybe well have a little JW meeting some day ;)

A good university for business is Wilfred Laurier, in Kitchener/Waterloo, which is about 100 km away from Toronto.

Actually, while americas secondary and elementry schools are poorly rated, our colleges/universities are considered the best in the world. The best business school in the world is wharton(University of PA). That is why all these foreigners get degrees here. Economics would be university of chicago. Computers is MIT. Other countries have great schools, some are even top schools that compare to american top schools. But it is generally agreed that the best as a whole university systems are in the US.

You want grades 1-12 in other countries. If you can go to a top school in the US for college you can write your own ticket. The benefits of a capitalistic college system.

graywolf624, I don't want ot get into a fight with you but two things, that top university list is bs as it is only taking into account nature and science as that is 20% of the mark if someone from the university has provided them with an article so that is stupid. second, yes Harvard, Standord, U. Penn, and MIT are probably the top schools in the world however, once you get out of the elite 15 of USA schools,Canadian univeristies are so much better as I know plently of kids that I went highschool with that went to Big schools in the USA and they thought that the workload and difficulty of the materials was a total joke as it was so easy compared to out workload back in Canada. I am talking about Univ. of Colorado ranked #31 and Univ. of Michigan ranked #21.
