Multiple image processing in PS

If you want to do the same task over and over again, say adding a border or resizing many images, is there anyway you can make a custom hotkey or something in PS?

you can resize using batch conversions

have a look in the help section and go to the index and select "batch command".

You mean "file" -> "process multiple images"?

I have seen that but it doesen't exactly give many options :(

I'm just wondering if there's someway, if you want to do exactly the same thing to multiple images it can be done easily without having to go through each step for each individual file?

EDIT: i forgot to mention i have elements, not the full version. Does elements still have batch processing as i can't find it anywhere? :(

file > automate > batch .......after that I'm not 100% sure. :?

make an "action" of what you want done. then just apply that action to every image
