yeah, he is the fastest... not the best, but the most articulate and exacting

Hes good.. But I'm not sure hes the fastest. In the running of course, but Petrucci , Yngwie, or Impellitteri are all at vary least equal imho.

Paul Gilbert is the fastest, isn't he?

no doubt you have to be god to play deep purple, and especially one like this one... btw I just bought my 176th deep purple cd yesterday :)

I've been collecting for 15 years, a lot of them are live albums, and a lot of them are "not previously released" and other rare official bootlegs, pirat copy's from russia, and box sets.

Nice. I'm the same way with Radiohead cd's but my collection is only in the 50's right now.

Anyway, I prefer country pickers over these guitar freaks without any doubt
