Amazing F355 sound! (mp3)
 

Someone gave me this link a week or so ago, apparently a sound demo for Project Gotham 3, but a very high quality 355 sound. Since I'm not sure if it's real or not, I'm sticking it here instead of the Games section.

Thats not real, definately! Great stuff, those new real engine sound systems in racing games. It all started with GTR and NFSU2, now I'm waiting for GTL, DTM 3 and PGR 3 which will also have realistic engine sounds :P

yeah.. I think this sound is from F355 Challenge!!

just to clear up any confusing, this sound clip came from microsoft's download database, so it's definitely a sound test for PGR :wink: My only questioning was if the samples were recorded or made on a computer.

it's okay :D it sounds like the way the F355 sounds, not really the same but kinda close :D still enough to fall in love with the game :)

It doesn't sound 100% like the real sound of a f355. Even inside with the windows closed you can hear more of the high pitching sounds the exhausts.

IMO, the sound of this file sounds too much perfectly the same after each shift. This wouldn't be in reality. If you ask me I would say this sound was made by a computer.

Definitely not real.

It doesn't sound "metallic" enough to me.
