Photo Of The Month January Submissions
Before showing the pics, I'd like to remember you we changed the way to decide the winner since some months . Just testing if it will work out, but I am sure it will, and it's a better solution, even if some of the laziest ones will stop voting because it will take some more time.
Here is what to do: You have to select your fav FOUR pics and assign points. The point system is as follows: fav pic: 5 pts second pic: 3 pts third: 2 pts fourth: 1 pt Please, your fav pic on top, 4th one at the bottom of the short list. Also, if you want, please, explain your choices :) And may the best win :) -- nthfinity, Bugatti Veyron http://www.motorworld.net/gallery/da...thfinity15.jpg yo_spc, Maserati Bora http://www.motorworld.net/gallery/da...m/yo_spc10.jpg MidEngine4Life, Pontiac Fiero GT http://www.motorworld.net/gallery/da...gine4Life5.jpg a007apl. 5pts: MidEngine4Life, nice "sweeping road = destination" feel
3pts: nthfinity, nice angle although its not my favourite from your Veyron series 2pts: MMC12, nice panning shot 1pt: TT, just a very lovely composition with the mountains in the background komotar: i love the atmosphere you created with your pic, but somehow the angle doesnt make the car itself look particularly good... |
5 pts. TT, Porsche 996 GT3 Mk I
Very nice! The wall isn't great, but the backdrop more than makes up for it! the side profile IMO on a 911 is simply sexy :) 3 pts. Smylait, Pagani Zonda F Nice setting, and capturing the leaves in the front grill is very telling of a little drive. 2 pts. MidEngine4Life, Pontiac Fiero GT The angle on the car looks odd, but the lighting, and road more then makes up for it! 1 pt. Wutputt, Lotus Exige Mk II For some reason, it looks a little "fat" ... maybe further back with more room in front of it... but sometimes with telephoto.. its limited to how far back you can get :P Nice! |
5pts: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

5points: Komotar, Alfa Spider. So much drama, and such a beautiful car. This is probably the best picture I have seen of this particular car. Bravo!
3points: Nth, Bugatti Veyron. The angle of the picture really makes a statement about how big and powerful this car is, even though its not much bigger than a focus. 2points: MidEngine4Life, Pontiac Fiero GT. Great Shot! I love the composition with the winding road and the crooked horizon (the hill), and I like the yellow tint, it gives it a "postcardesque" feeling. 1point: TT, Porsche GT3. Lovely picture, and it WOULD have made first place were it not for that damn wall that distracts from the car and the background. I like the colors, with an emphasis on the whites, greys, and light blues. It really suits this car. And the background mountain is perfectly positioned in relation to the car, and it hints at the power of the car. If it weren't for that wall..........;-) |
