The Z06 out in it's element...
I keep forgetting we have a Musclecar Video forum... duh... ;)
Linky  http://www.jabbasworld.net/dload.php...e&file_id=1389 http://img352.imageshack.us/img352/2162/newcam14xa.jpg A little idling, a little smokin, a little fly by, a little acceleration... and a lot of fun. |
darn i cant watch it :(
sounds like alot of fun though =D |
That's not fair...make it my Christmas present, host it for all...

Hey RC, looking to change ur rear tires anytime soon
For one second in the video I thought u gonna do a J-turn for us...damn was I disappointed LOL! neways, awesome sound......the idle sound like a 70s muscle car......damn sweet. Now all I need to do is fork out 10k for insurance and I can get my very own Z06 :? |
rrrr rc your a punk teasing the rest of us like this grrrr :splat:

So I want to try keep to a set a season like I always have. I seem to get about 10,000 miels to a set of GY F1 SC's... I could use up a set of softer tyres in a weekend probably hehe Quote:
Mindful that it's real easy to end up in a ditch... hehe 10K a year for insurance in Kanukland? Holeeeee shiznit! Quote:

I am quite surprise actually, 10k miles sound pretty descent considering all that power and ur occasionaly heavy right foot ;)
Yeah...got into a little fender bender 2 years ago during a snow storm (remember I post earlier I didnt use snow tires lol)...oh well, that help alittle. But even without that little thingy it will still cost 7~8k a year. Toronto is not the easiest place to own a fast car. |
$2200 a year for me.. that's both cars ;)
Yeah - the Z06 is really the best allround sports car for me. Cheap to buy, cheap to insure, cheap to run, cheap to mod - and goes like stink. The overall cost of ownership of Viper, Porker, Beemer, Benz etc is just way more than I am willing to spend for my 4 wheeled thrills. |
2200??!!   u have no idea how far my jaw has dropped....
No kidding......if I had ur rate, believe me I am sleeping infront of a chevy dealer rite now. (will prolly go for a second hand one tho.....just can't justify the new car depreciation ..u know what i mean  ) |
2200 sounsd about right... my rate is coming down seriously in less then 1 year now... so when i turn 24; and finances willing... something like a Z is heading my way... but, i always have a soft spot in my heart for the 911... my rate for my jeep at 23 is less then 1700$ full coverage... 1 more year... (with my current insurance agent) 8)
i could 'hear' your clutch in/out action in those takeoffs :) |
:( im reading this and soaking up all ur compliments toward the car :(
i so wanna watch the movie >.< rc! couldu post it on a free vid-post website plz? =D |

I had all the electronic nannies turned off there - normally I keep ActiveHandling on.. which tries very hard to prevent thos situtions.. but with no electronic interventin the tyres just melt away and you try point it where you want to go :) hehe You're always on the edge... so you leave it till you think you can steer out of it... then when you see God you let off the gas regain grip, straighten and go ;) I am always mindful that the next silly activity could so easily throw me into a ditch.. :P Quote:

Downloading now.......

Your paying $1700 USD a year for a Jeep? I pay about half that for the WRX, and I'm the same age and its considered a "risky" car. EDIT ------------------ That thing sounds brutal!!!! Nice launches too, I can't quite create that much smoke.... :P |
