F2003-GA
this psat february i was at the Chicago auto show where, much to my surprise, i was MS's f2003-GA. has anyone else attended an autoshow anywhere and seen his car? I was pretty sure an article in some car+driver said he always bought his car after each season.
here it is! http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/6417/028_74.JPG |
Schumi may buy one of them but they get through a few chassis and even more engines during an entire season. So there is usually a good few to go around. 5th gear did a show following a VERY rich guy buying a 2003 or 2002 ferrari f1 from the factory. Nice toy!

yea good point.. yea VERY rich indeed... they even rebuild the engine for you.... just send it back to maranello! jeez, i wish.... y did it post twice... i only hit submit once! stupid computer!!!!

We saw an Enzo AND the F2003-GA at the 2004 Tokyo Auto Salon, that was a great sighting.

The F1 cars aren't too expensive. And shumacher doesn't buy them. Generally, if you know who to talk to (which can be very easy), you can buy one.
The F2000 is going up for auction by Bonhams. This car is significant since it was the first one MS won a title in for Ferrari (after their super long drought). As for buynig an F1 car, you can get a late 80's Ferrari F1 car as low as 300k. And ferrari is very very good about supporting the cars and owners who buy them, which is impressive given the crap service we mere mortal owners receive. --Dan |
its easy to buy them... go to maranello, throw down little over a mil. depending on the year and who drove it and you got urself a "slightly" used F1 car.... in my book, 1m is expensive bobafett (awesome bounty hunter by the way.. go star wars) .... yea sorry bout that TT.... not jabba...lol
i think ferarri actually has a department that actually specializes in the F1 car sales... its in the car and driver issue with the Ford GT, vs Challenge stradale, and a porsche gt2 or gt3..... its in there.... ill look for it eventually |

'You'll need a minimum of 900,000(Euro) (currently $1,063,000 US)' |
