So it was true that BMW was going to use forced induction. About the HP I have heard figures of around 330-350. Only rumors though..

In someway it's like you say but remember that the new M3 will use a NA V8.

Can't wait for the official pics!!! I'm pretty sure it will look great 8)

I don't mind BMW use twin turbo sequential technology in some models as long as they keep the M3 NA  :P

Don't think that's a 3-series. 2002 turbo no?

Give me a N/A V8 anyday over a F/I V6. Mercedes got it right when they switched the supercharged C32 to the V8 in the new C55. This will be the 3 series competitor. I still like the Merc AMG 5.5 V8 though, god it sounds nice.

At the end of the day it all boils down to power. Turbocharged, NA, supercharged or whatever... I hate to be in the least powerfull car. This car IMO is an experiment for BMW to see which path to take, forced induction or NA. No engineers in the world in their right mind will pick the NA if the FI option is avail to them. Remember 80's F1?
I really really hope BMW will use FI in all their M cars. At last it will be perfect.

fuck you BMW !!! i used to love you and then came that thing called turbo... i pray its not include in the next gen M3
