correct me if i'm wrong but saw series are the only truly horifying horror movies throught last couple of years

Lightbane 08-09-2008 07:59 AM

You're half right. By that I mean the other horror movies aren't scary. But then neither are the saw movies. I gave up on them after the third one. I use to love scary movies. Now I can't be bothered. Maybe I'm just old but I prefer a good comedy now. Life is to short. I want to laugh.

CarlZ 08-09-2008 03:14 PM

yeah, I still want to be scared to death but todays movies aren't scary enought, it's scarier to watch news theese days :D i was to a movie patology or smt like that aaaand it wasn't even a little bit scary :@ a bit discusting tho thanks god :D

I didnt even understand how Saw 4 ended. Can someone explain what was the deal with re-testing that girl that has been there since Saw 1?

CarlZ 08-09-2008 04:43 PM

don't look for logic in horror moveis, they are not ment for that

DeMoN 08-09-2008 09:55 PM

sure they are not, but saw 1 and 2 made sense. Actually, it was the twisted link between them that made the movies so great in my eyes. I'd just like to fully understand Saw 4 aswell

CarlZ 08-10-2008 03:42 AM

i don't know. last time i tried to understand horror movie was when I was watching movie ''number 23'' I ended up loughing in my chair so bad I almoust got thrown out of the cinema :D and that that jim carrey was main character in the movie also didn't help :D

DeMoN 08-10-2008 11:34 AM

Oh yes, I didnt see the movie on the theater, just some parts on the TV and my god I was having a ball joking with this 23 or "omg 23 backwards 32!"

CarlZ 08-10-2008 12:39 PM

Yes!

I quite like the SAW movies, gives me an excuse to call one of my lady friends so they can come round hang on to me when they are frightened :-)

Saw 5 sucks ass!!! It wasn't scary in the least bit. Predictable and boring; I was literally yawning through half of the movie.

Considering it's at it's 4th sequel, it's really nothing new.
