telme somehting ..... whats the difference b/w a 911 GT3 and a 996 GT3 :?:

There is no difference.. the 996 is just a 911 model basically.. like 930, 964, 993 or 997 now.

There was no GT3 in the 911 lineup before the 996 came along, so basically a 911 GT3 is the same thing as a 996 GT3... but in the next years there will be a 997 GT3 probably, so confusion may start again :D

Actually, I think there was a 993 GT3 race car, but that's it

they are the same thing, the 996 is just the internal code at Porsche and relates to this particular model.....with the 997 being the new one just released.
I hope thats correct.
