A Very sad day in motorsport.

I didn't watch the race, but while channel surfing, happened upon the red flag. Without seeing the replay, I just knew it was a bad one based on the temperament of everyone.

RIP.....I guess this will happen eventually given the wall is so close to the track.

Aweful lot of cars trailing fire as they disintergrated - so much for safety fuel cells and firesystems.
