They are supposedly both stock, and the C6 is an automatic.

It was interesting how in the highway and the rolling start races the Z06 pulled away every time, but in the straight up drag race they seemed dead even. The C6 finished ahead just because it started a little early.

You can see how the light weight components of the Z06 with the manual tranny really make a difference once the speed gets up there.

Well its not suprising the C6 auto won off the line. I was really expecting the Z06 to start pulling once they both hit top of 2nd gear though, and it was starting to pull. I think if the Z06 launched better it would of put 2-3 cars by the end of the stop.

oh ya z06 would of won if he had a bettee start. Thats why i hate 1/4 mile races, if the cars are close in performance then its the start that makes most of the idfference. And plus and auto will alwyas be faster in the quarter

And remember neither Tony nor Garret felt like beating and abusing their cars to death... ;)
