Panorama photo's

I've created this merge today:

Question: how do I clean the stitch lines in PS? I've tried some cloning but it only made worse.

Please post your examples of panorama photography in this thread.

Here's another one that worked out better

I have a much bigger version of this somewhere..

To clean up the stitching lines I match colors by changing the exposures/brightness/contrast for each photo segment..

There are also some programs that will do this for your automatically.

There's a program called autostitch....

There's probably more of them also

There are a bunch of programs that do it automatically.. but you wont get the same results as if you did it manually in photo shop..

was out a walk today and thought i would try out a panorama.

this ones made up of 12 pictures and is almost 180 degree view. stitched together with photostitch which came with my camera.

It turned out better than i thought it would but i had to crop quite a bit of the top and bottom as there were big missing sections (think it was because i didnt have a tripod). Definitely going to have another try and take the pictures as portraits instead of landscape to give more height.

Comments welcome.

Nice one Alan, definitely stitched together really well. Try bumping up the saturation and contrast to make the colors pop a little better.

TopGearNL 04-10-2007 01:41 PM

Yeah very nice pic Alan! :D
