LOL Noel Edmonds used to present Top Gear!!
I am in a state of shock right now, somebody tell me my eyes were playing tricks on me :P I doubt anyone has any clips that old though, late 1970's...... i wasn't even born till 85
found on uktv people...... PRESENTERS OF TOP GEAR Noel Edmonds Older viewers might recall that when 'Top Gear' began in the late 1970s, one of its presenters was Noel Edmonds. Edmonds returned for a one-off appearance in the late 1990s to test drive the legendary Ford GT40. Jeremy Clarkson had been due to film the feature, but Clarkson's tall frame prevented him from driving the car, to his utter dismay and Edmonds' delight. http://www.uktv.co.uk/uktvPeople/More.cfm?ccs=49&cs=142 Anybody got the clip of Edmonds return BTW  |
Yeah I've heard about that. Jeremy couldn't close the door of the GT40, because that would have cut his head off...
|
LMAO ... Noel Edmonds :P
I can't really imagine him being interested in cars, but i guess it could be true... too funny though  |

I remember he had to test the GT43 because his head could not fit in the other one

Yeah, Noel Edmonds does indeed own a GT40 and he lives somewhere in the south west i believe. He took over a local nature park (cricket St thomas) near my home in somerset and turned it into BLOBBY WORLD (if anyone used to watch noels house party on a saturday night yonks ago u know wat im talking about). He completey ruined the park, lost a load of money and left. Now its back to as it was, pre-blobby.
He is well into his cars tho. In fact almost as much as knitted jumpers. :P |
