wow, i'm really diggin that interior, what a contrast to the rubbish interior on the previous one... but having seen so many spy pics of camaro prototypes i can't say i'm completely won over by the outside...still we dont know how it performs yet, cant wait for those reviews to come in, and see what the aftermarket will do with it 8-)
^ ^btw what source did u use? |
The interior is pretty good actually, in a way it's retro, but still have a touch of modern feel.

3700 lbs, but at least they gave it a potent V6 for the base model. Not to mention all independent suspension.
As long as the top of the line model is under $40k, this car will be a winner. The RS model or whatever the base V8 model is, needs to be under $30k out the door. |
Photos or computer renderings?
They look like computer renderings to me. Still nice though. The opening of the hood is held back from the front leading lip edge, interesting. |

Looks tough, but..... *Yawns

Looks nice, depending on how adjustable it is from the factory (camber and the like) it could be a decent AutoX car, if a bit on the heavy side. I wonder where the SCCA will class this...

Outclasses the Challenger in every way, I like it!

It bothers me that despite this news being out for a while now that Road and Track managed to get it wrong in their most recent issue. They say the Camaro comes in two trim levels, RS and SS . . . yeaa, not sure how they messed that up.
I'm really happy with how the car turned out. Most of the "Corvette spice" and other things that bothered me in the concept did not make it to production. I am, however, dissappointed in the weight. I was hoping for more of a 3550 number. Oh well, one can atleast do some weight trimming on his own. |
