it was approx 1740 kgs before. Wow!!!! 100 kgs Straight off the car. I guess they weighed it with Clarkson still inside it last time :mrgreen:

This thing is great, hand built twin turbo engines with plasma sprayed 0.15 MM bores in the cylinder liners:ohmy:

Apparently they have gone all out with carbon fiber and that has resulted in the weight reduction. GT- R looks ready take on the mighty ones now :)

Dont trust that picture just yet. That picture has been floating around for ages.

So this is how they managed to post the times and speeds they did - with the "super special" verison, not the over weight under powered version ;)

I was thinking exactly the same thing RC!

1640kg is still hell lota weight lugging around. Is the weight mostly contributed by the sheer width of the car?
