PHOTO OF THE MONTH APRIL SUBMISSIONS
Before showing the pics, I'd like to remember you we changed the way to decide the winner since some months. Just testing if it will work out, but I am sure it will, and it's a better solution, even if some of the laziest ones will stop voting because it will take some more time.
Here is what to do: You have to select your fav FOUR pics and assign points. The point system is as follows: fav pic: 5 pts second pic: 3 pts third: 2 pts fourth: 1 pt Please, your fav pic on top, 4th one at the bottom of the short list. 3 pt - sameerrao. I adore this desert road in town with four random cars lineup up :) 2 pt - dingo. Brillant setting, I love when the field is deep behind the car and obviously out of focus 1 pt - dani_d_mas. really nice action shot. I always like your rally pics and the cars squatting and launching itself out of the corner is really nice It was very hard once again to just pick 4 pics! |

ok here goes
5 pts: dani_d_mas - It's a great moment caught in time. The exhaust, the camera flash, the people, the tilted camera, the colours, the drama, the car accelerating wiledley out of the curve, it's still going slightley sideways, the composition is great, the car is sharp, the light is good, the wheels are spining whish means you used the right time. I like this pic very much, pro material and it makes me want to shoot a rally, which I have never done before ... 3 pts: dingo - I love the reflections on the car, they make the pic for what it is and the little things matter, like the red flowers on the left side, they give a kindove romantic feeliong to the pic ... it's a great looking car, great surroundings, and I thin I also like the pic is the fact that I'm not used to the surrounding, and that makes it so much more attractive for me ... 2 pts: MartijnGizmo - the light, the light, the light. The car is looking into the sunset, itching to go another round, the spoiler is a great detail as are the rear lights, great pic, but I think that the other one was even better, front pic ... I would have put that one in second ... 1 pt: MidEngine4Life - hey, how often do we see a girl on a car around here, and the photo made by a member! the light is soft, the girl is very good looking, the composition is good, and I think this pic is wallpaper material ... ok so the pics, that were right upe there imho are TT's lotus. It was a close battle, because your pic is so cool because there is a whole car in the pic, but the details are very visible. The steering wheel, the sports tires, the engine, the difuzor, the spoiler, the black rims .... it was really tough...... and then there is eurocopter's antara, a great action pic! I also liked the MUS911 pic, but too many distracting poles in the pic .... and sentra's turbo, a pure pic, much like stmoritzer's SLR last month ... |

You can tell by the smoke, the car's movement and the flash! I have to say great work to you all! :good: |

5pts komotar, Volvo S80 pro-stuff, nice foreground-background photo - we'll need to give you some handicap, since you're doing it professional :mrgreen: 3pts dingo, Porschari 5996GTTb , car perfectly sharp, the rest very soft and the long straight indicates a high speed run 2pts yo_spc, Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante , quiet scenery, well placed IMO 1 pt MartijnGizmo, Lotus Exige S very good photography and flash usage :good:, but the pic isn't further up because of the car / and "watching the sunset" somehow doesn't warm my heart :wink: followed by sameerao ( like the group picture), c0wb0y007 (nice action shot, but too much zoomed in), TT (nice color, driver door open is ok, but open engine bay not so good IMO) again some nice photography in this contest, well done ! |

3 points - Komotar`s Volvo S80. If Evo or the top gear magazine ever needs a S80 pic then this is the one. Cristal clear 2 points - Zonda`s Murcielago. Great car on a superb location, bright picture as well. Rare colour, but suits the car very well. 1 point - Dingo`s tuned 996. If you ever think about creating a new calender this one should be in it most definitely. Looks to me that Australia rocks when it comes to landscapes.
