Street Legal F1, Caparo T1 to be Unveiled in Monaco
Remember hearing about this a couple of months ago?
Seems like they're ready to show it off to the public next week! http://www.jalopnik.com/images/2006/04/caparo_t1.jpg http://www.jalopnik.com/cars/news/ca...aco-167364.php |
I am curious to see if they will be able to produce it with such caracteristics :?:
|
no, this is a 2 seater...according to the brochure. Performances are stuning and personnaly I like the shape of that car, it looks a bit like an Allien
|
I dont think it looks that bad either, it is pretty much an F1 car for the streets, and F1 cars are't beautiful like they used to be.
Just the fact that they are trying to make it street legal is awesome! |

Cool concept, but even if it does make it into production I doubt that the members from the US will ever see one due to the crash tests and other regulations.

Can't wait to see your pics!!
|
it should be interesting to see if it goes as fast as it looks.

Just got back, but no good pics (was woirking, sorry). T1 look nice, a lot of fine details. Weights 465 kilos and at 150 mph has more than 500 kilos of downforce ...
And it's a two seater just by name ... Liked Apollo, (didn't drive it, though, had to leave before empty slot was up., but I'll drive it sometime this year at factory track), looks good on road (white), nice sound. I hope Dani has much more detailed report, I'm wasted (9 hours of traffic jams, just got home) |
damn those are some good specs, I dont think it looks bad at all. I wouldnt mind having one in my garage.

Autovisie went to the show and made some pics, the car looks awesome!

HUm, first step is made, I wait a riding prototype now
|
All I can say is: Schwinnnggg!!! Damn, that is one of the most elegant, clean, aggressive but sleek designs I have ever seen. Who says form has to follow function?
