World fastest gmc syclone and it's gets driven on the street
 

World fastest gmc skyclone it has maed 8,98 pass@155 mph(255 kmh) on the dragstrip still has the full interior looks almost stock expect for the drag redials and it's still uses the full awd drivetrain.
The syclone was in the united states and it raced everybody there but nobody could beat him the owner comes from sweden.

Last years I was in Virginia Beach and I saw a local Syclone & Typhoon club event, on 30 members the slowest truck was runnig 12.5sec on 1/4miles and the fastest was low 9'. This is an amazing trucks. :good:

Do syclones have full independent suspension front and rear??
Maby a fast allround skyclone would be fun a on road course.
Just picture the faces of the people you overtake whit a truck.
But what i find amazing how stable the truck of mr syclone is onder full accleration without any wheelspin or sideways movement from the truck it juts stays very straight.

Front Suspension ...........

Independent with torsion bars, lower spring rate and ride height, revised jounce bumpers, and 32 mm stabilizer bar

Rear Suspension ............

Semi-elliptic leaf springs with Salisbury axle

Here is some acceleration date.

0-60 mph in 2,1 seconds
0-100 in 4,1 seconds
And you can still use it on the street.
I wonder if he can find any extra speed to make this truck to go deeper the 8 seconds et's.

My friend has a Syclone. I've always wanted a white Typhoon. Unfortunately, they're pretty useless except to go fast with, since a truck with no towing capacity is basically worthless to me. These days, I'd rather have a Ford Lightning instead. Still a fast truck, but at least you can tow with it. I dig those limited edition Marlboro red Sy/Tys...I'd want one of those these days.

Are these guys running 400m (1312.3ft) or 1/4 mile (1320 feet)?

400m is slightly (2.3m) shorter than a 1/4 mile so that coupled with the runout makes the car seem a little quicker than it really is.

I think the strip where her set the record is in sweden i think it's a 402meter strip.
Anyway it did some low 9 second and some unproven high 8 sec passes on a us dragstrip
And he did some high 8 second passes in the us but he has no proof.
The best proven time he did in the us is 9.06/154mph.
So it's safe to say i really did a 8,98@155 mph in sweden.
