Chevelle from hell 200+ mph daily driver

Fastest daily driven chevelle.
Chevelle From Hell started life as a 1966 327 four-speed car, but is undergoing a transformation that will make it one of the wildest Chevelles on the planet.

We believe that the body styling of the 1966 Chevelle is the high water mark of Chevrolet vehicles, so we decided to keep a mostly stock appearing car with subtle modifications for aerodynamics and performance. The windshield cowl will be filled with a central scoop for cold air intake to the engine. A front chin spoiler in the style of a 1969 Z-28 Camaro will smooth out the front air profile of a car built for speeds of 200 mph. The exhaust will use NASCAR style boom tubes exiting through the rockers, flush with the side of the car. The drip rails are removed and the trunk will have a subtle spoiler to enhance downforce. Underneath the car will have a bellypan that runs the length of the car with no part hanging below the bottom of the framerails.

This 200+ mph daily driver project hides an all aluminum 540 inch donavan under the hood. The engine is equipped with aluminum bowtie "401" heads, a mild cam, and relatively low compressionÂ* (10 to 1), all designed to run on 91 octane pump gas. This will make the car streetable, but the cubic inches allow for some outrageous power output.

We are using a modified Tremac TKO 5-speed trans with 18% O/D. All running gear is Winston cup® including Coleman brakes. This car is fully equipped with every suspension goodie we offer.

This car is receiving all amenities. Check out the dyno sheet, it’s a monster. Follow the project. We can build one for you too!

Notice the unobtainable factory fiberglass doors!

"all aluminum 540 inch donavan under the hood"

ummm, wow. that's big. 8.8 litres? bigger than a viper engine... man.

that thing has a pretty monster torque curve. That engine is huge though, and I can't imagine the rest of the car is light weight. Wonder how it corners :?

It would honestly be interesting to see how much suspension development was done though
