This is what most 240sx do when swaping into a SR20DET. It would be quite tough for us to help u without knowing what engine bay u have tho (sometimes is not just the bay, u might need the tranny too). |
I visit this site reguly and it's very helpful. It's got a forum too if you have any qestions reguarding the RB26DETT ask it there. With many people allready modifying theres allready you should be able to get some advice/tips.

the sr20det is an easy swap, but however i would reccomend going with a RB25DET cause its slightly smaller, and easier to swap in due to the size and single turbo setup

rb25det is a huge engine powerfull but not torque like the sr20 engine which is jsut a little less powerful .. also fuel wise the sr20 is great .. and mods wise.. the sr20 has alot mre options then a rb25 as the engine has been longer around my 2 cents |
i was talking about using the RB25 instead of RB26
obviouslty the 2 liter sr20 is smaller, but a RB25 is smaller than a RB26..... think a lil before hand and you wont jump the gun |
you actually said sr20, but whatever. the rb20det will be the least complex and cheapest of the rb swaps and has a lot more power potential than the sr. only difference is that the rb20 wieghs 180lbs more than th KA (if this is into a 240sx, which i assume because you would swap out an sr, but you are in singapore) if you have the CA, then it is a very capable engine(moreso than the sr in my opinion because its iron block) and you should just build that up.
