Sorry, but this is built as a dragster. It will take Ferrari on the straight...but don't think it will be able to put down its power too well on a circuit.

I'm going to say something quite different... Unlike other Standing Mile cars that start out life as capable of 200 mph + (Ford GT, Gallardo, Corvette, Porsche etc.) Making any car capable of 239 mph is an outstanding achievement. Even if the other cars are built as "all around performance", it takes tremendous obsticles to overcome, and raw power capabilities (and reliability) to do these events. I'd say its more impressive that the 4th Gen did this than a Gallardo, or Ford GT since those cars are designed from the start to be stable at speed.

I can understand the engineering behind an 1800hp engine in desert heat. But, unlike the latest gen Camaro, the 4th gen has a relatively low drag coeff. Nothing a few underbody mod won't solve.

What I am really picking on is the "eating a Ferrari for breakfast" that's all.

Well, most people don't do a whole lot of modding to Ferrari engines... A few supercharged and twin turbo 308's are out there, the Koenig Competition cars, Richard Lossee's TT Enzo, and a few supercharged modern F cars. Relatively few. So yeah, they will get eaten for breakfast.

While the F body is a lower drag car, it really isn't a d/f car... in fact, just the opposite. The front end gets light around 120 mph, and gets really light @ 140.
