PHOTO OF THE MONTH SEPTEMBER SUBMISSIONS
Before showing the pics, I'd like to remember you we changed the way to decide the winner since this month. Just testing if it will work out, but I am sure it will, and it's a better solution, even if some of the laziest ones will stop voting because it will take some more time.
Here is what to do: You have to select your fav FOUR pics and assign points. The point system is as follows: fav pic: 5 pts second pic: 3 pts third: 2 pts fourth: 1 pt Please, your fav pic on top, 4th one at the bottom of the short list. 1 : stmoritzer, Aston Martin Vanquish 5pts . Certainly because I love the colour combo and the pic is clean.
2 : salegosse, Opel Speedster and Mazda RX7 3 pts. I love the lights and ambiance, even more than stmoritzer submission but the featured cars are not really as interesting. With a Ferrari or another BIG badge it would be my favorite. 3 : dingo, Aston Martin AMV8 2 pts. Nice lights and nice car. 4 : sameerrao, Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster 1 pt . I don't really like the background but the car and the colour are beautiful. It was once again difficult to make a choice and I was tempted by some Veyrons but ... we have to choose a winner :wink: Good work mates !! |

TT, the link says to start with 6 points for the best pic, down to 1 for the 6th pic. The instruction on this page are like last month, 5 points, 3, 2, 1 for the last pic. Which way? Here are my top 6 choices, and if you're doing the 5, 3, 2, 1, just chose the top 4 and assign the point accordingly. :D
6- Smylait; Bugatti Veyron This is my favorite this month. I love the angle. It looks so futuristic and foreign from the back, like nothing else on the market right now. Excellent picture! 5 - Sameerrao, Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster I love Lambos. I love the color. I love the winglets on the car. It's the boyracer in me... 4 - Dani d Mas, Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06R I like this picture for its simplicity. The machine and the track. 3 - Eurocopter, Wiesemann GT This is an interesting picture. I don't recognize the car, but the fact that it's running under water looks pretty cool. 2- Dingo, Aston Martin AMV8 I like the rake on this car. I think it sits really nicely. The backdrop of what appears to be a dealership makes me want to go window shopping for exotics. 1- Carrera_GTCrazy, Audi RS4 B7 I like the contrast of the new car and the graffitti (sp?). 1st: Carrera_GTCrazy, Audi RS4 B7 ~ just wow, the location just enbodies the soul of the car, radical, very good angle and comp. beautiful color depth. :good:
2nd: sameerrao, Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster ~ again that is where i would picture the car, in some back lot at a studio etc. just a great shot, with a beautiful car. good job. 3rd: bloeb, BMW E63 M6 ~ I have never seen a car look so mean before :shock: very very good shot 4th: Harryo2b. Porsche 987 Boxster ~ a match made in heaven. the comp could of been better but subject matter is perfect. very clear and clean. |

1. Smylait, Bugatti Veyron - Nothing fancy in the picture but I love the angle of the shot. The Veyron looks like a beetle climbing up the wall. :)
2. Carrera_GTCrazy, Audi RS4 B7 - Like the contrast between the colorful wall and the plain car. The car is a bit blurry though. 3. dani_d_mas, Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06R - Like the Le Mans shot with the iconic Dunlop bridge in the background 4. stmoritzer, Aston Martin Vanquish - The car looks nice and sharp. Wow, what a selection this month!
sameerrao, Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster 5pt (interesting and unique color on the car, and it gives a nice contrast between the car and the invironment) TT, Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale 3pt (the car sits well in the environment) Wutputt, Lamborghini Gallardo 2pt (the atmosphere gives the car a nice touch) Smylait, Bugatti Veyron 1pt ( this shot just defines the muscular look of the car very well. one thing though the rest of the picture area is really bland and could have helped improve the shot that much more) I still think we should have four finalist at the end of the month, if we are voting four pics. |
Uhm.. you mean 4 pics on the portal? Would be too much IMO. Two is already maybe too much and I even wondered if we shouldn't stick to THE pic of the month

The composition with the grafitti on the background is just awesome! 3pts = nthfinity, Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, Bugatti EB164 Veyron, Spyker C8 Spyder Another great composition and the lightning is very good as well. 2 pts = dani_d_mas, Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06R Nice action shot and the headlights on gave a very nice touch to the pic. 1 pt = TT, Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale Nice shot, a pity the umbrellas were closed, cause it looks a bit odd. |

5 points for eurocpter, wallpaper pic with some action in it, the rarity of the car in this nice white for sure gave some extra points 3 points for Smylait and his Veyron pic, points out the capacity/power of this car 2 points for bloeb, like the eye-contact he searched with taking the pics from close to the ground 1 point for TT, IMO the palmtree to the right is disturnig a little :bah:, otherwise great scenery |

3pts. salegosse, Opel Speedster and Mazda RX7 White balance feels wrong, but im sure the low pressure sodiums (they dont look like halides anyway) make it hard to recover.
