The Countach evolved quite heavily since the first model, but I still picked an LP400 since it's the pure shape that generated the latter beast

Gave it just a "cool", but damn, it's the closest you can get to subzero! I actually prefer the LP400.. simpler, sexier.. :love:

The Countach is an untamable beast - But I am going to rate it as cool!

Subzero. Unreliable, very hard to live with and a true Lamborghini, with plenty of character.

Just like the Diablo and F40, this is the kind of car that you have a poster of in your room.

the definitive supercar of the 70's, one hell of a sound.... a movie star!

this car was befitting of the acid rockstars of the day; where i can definately see Ziggy Stardust, Ace Freely, and Bon Scott driving this car. (even if they didnt) not to mention; this car was wreckless abandon of all practicality, and usefulness.... let alone ease of use :lol: when you see one; i swear, i always see puffy hair driving :P

the reason this car doesnt go sub-zero-> time hasnt been kind to its hard-edged styling.

this car is off the scale !

I really like this car, but no more than I like The Diablo or Miura.

the aniversary edition is a little more cool, almost subzero :)

After this weekend I have to say subzero - its so unpractical, uncomfortable and makes such an impact on the road that it couldn't be anything else. :D

Subzero. It's the car we dreamt about while we were a child, without ever even knowing it existed :D.

It´s one of the wildest cars ever created, that makes it subzero :twisted:

It is realy cool car. But not subzero like Miura

Tons of character and drama, first supercar to make such a statement, awesome!
This car has more balls than 90% in the subzero section.

This+the Miura+Diablo are both sub zero. It went a bit downhill from there, the latestones are uncool in my books. Anyways, brave styling, it had much more presence than the Ferrari rival, and it had a cool name...Countach :D

subzero.......it has been unodubtely my favourite car even till the 288 GTO, and still its one of my 5 favourite cars....so the decision is clear

I gave SZ for LP400. Later ones not great.
Same as Miura, but different reasons. When have you ever seen one on the road and not gone "Wow!"

This car is so unique and extravagant it is simply in a category of it's own ! Watch the black Countach in the movie "the cannonball run" and hear that engine sound: : Wow ! Life is good ! Subzero for the LP400 & LP400S but seriously uncool for the 25th anniversary edition.

Subzero ONLY for the first model LP400.

The later ones just had unnecessary body cladding.

This is the best supercar for me! When I was growing up it was the only car everyone knew. Even if they didn't know it's name they knew it was a Lamborghini. I actually prefer the 1985 QV5000 or the 25-th Anniversary Edition of the car. I know it has a lot of problems, I watched Jeremy many times explaining why it's bad(by the way, I start to hate Clarkson - I watched 5 or 6 reviews of the Countach by him and he always repeats himself, even his lines are the same)
But I love it, and can definetely say - I WILL BUY ONE! ...even if it is 15 years from now. I want to own a Countach! It is subzero without a question!

The Countach was the first modern supercar as we know them. Every subsequent supercar is a variation of the Countach.
The Miura, which I think is even cooler, was classic 60's as well as supercar.

Some people had pin-ups on their bedroom wall, some had Testarossas and I had the Countach. It has to be a "cool" from me!

BTW, I suspect the reason why Jeremy Clarkson doesn't like the Countach, is because he is too tall to fit in the ting!

for me the Countach is Zubzero :thumbup: here come 10 reasons why it sould be on the Zubzero list :
1. The car looks like pornografi ! the shape of the car is just mind blowing, and imagine how it was i the 70's ! Even Ferrari had to go back to the drawingboard. It was xstreme in every way, nothing on the road looked like it.
2. horizontally hinged doors
3. The very first model had a 4.0 liter V12 in the back :twisted: and the noice of a devil
4. It was designed by Marcello Gandini :-)
5. The LP400 had a weigth of only 1065 kg ( 2347 lbs ) :thumbup:
6. Later models like the LP400S had massive rear tyres ( 345 / 35 / 15 ) :ohmy:
7. The price
8. It's a movie-star and the biggest poster star !
9. It's only for real men ! you can't se out of it, the clutch, gear change and sterring was so hard, it demands you to be a Jean Claude Van Damme ! It a race car for the weekend :-)
