2006 Lexus GS 430 vs. 2006 Infiniti M45

Pretty good analysis of the Lexus, I think.

i really like what they have done with the design of the lexus.

on a Car and Driver, the M45 got no 1 position... lexus either 3rd or 4th. The 5 series got beat by both GS and M45.

^ M45 is a great car... I'm not surprised it killed the lexus. To quote the article, "Buried deep inside the GS 430 is a great car... we just can't find it"

More evidence that electronics do not neccesarily make the car better to drive (Active Steering anyone?)

Umm okay.

On regards to Nissan's reliability, I think it should be noted that was before Carlos Ghosn. Things have definitely changed now.

To the subject at hand. Yeah, I am not surprise at all. As a matter of fact, my boss was in the same situation two months ago. The decision was between the GS430 vs the M45. He ended up picking the M45 simply because of the engine, interior space, and aggressive looks. He also looked at the BMW 545i, but it was a 10k premium over the other two comparably equiped.
