Program help

Is there a program that can keep track of all the Incoming/ outgoing MB that travel through your connection??

TT 02-01-2004 01:32 PM

In wim98 there is "stock"... you know you double click the connection icon and income and outcome data come up updated in real time.. I always thought it was the same in every system

Edit - here is what I get if I double click the connection icon:

Sorry it's in italian but anyway you can see speed of the connection (that's wrong since it didn't updated when my line became a DSL 640).. the duration of the session, bytes received and sent

In xp it only shows me packets.... I wanna know how many MB I transfer/receive - and need it logged and kept track of by the day and week.

It would be indeed nice.. of course the one in Win98 is not stored.. you have to do it manually if you want to keep track day by day... but I'm sure somebody will come up with a nice application for you ;)

visit http://www.analogx.com

Find a program called NetStatLive. This will monitor your connection and give you not only a report of kbits in/out in real time but also an accumulation.

fishfreek 02-01-2004 02:12 PM

Ok it seems to be loggin the activity of my main pc,,,,what if i wanna include the totals of my other two computers in the the grand total amount?

Is there any way to do this using the program?

fishfreek 02-01-2004 02:18 PM

Nope. You would have to run it on all of your systms and manually add them up.

i know this has nothing to do with what you are talking about, but how do you take those screenshots of your computer screen??

fishfreek 02-01-2004 02:39 PM

I belive this has been answered a few times in the forums. There are some shareware programs that do this easily or just hit the print screen button on your computer then open a photo editing software and paste the image from your clipboard into the software and edit and resize.
