Yes, it looks like trams. Those things are heavy! It takes some time and force to stop a tram.

Maybe the poor little 206 tried to overtake one tram just before he met another, and wasn't quite fast enough?

That's why you don't mess around with the trams...people try and beat street cars (similar to trams) all the time in New Orleans...and get crushed. :P
