It is quite interesting on the fact that toyota.com didn't even have those pictures yet and they are posting it since yesterday.

Um...ewww. Looks like an Aztek, only even worse. :?

5vz-fe 12-15-2005 08:14 PM

I think it is as ugly as the Honda Element, but the difference is this can go deep into the montain to hide its ugly ass

AlienDB7 12-16-2005 01:16 AM

So, is this what happened after the Honda Element got drunk and had an one night stand with the Aztek near a nuclear power plant?

I like it, it looks great, although I hate retro cars, this one looks really good, I think they nailed the styling bringin the old FJ to modern ques...and I'm sure it will be one hell of an off roader.

Banchi105 12-16-2005 01:42 PM

I like. More for the spirit of it than the actual styling.

PaulGT2164 12-16-2005 09:58 PM

i like it as well

now they just need to make a two seat roadster with 2000GT looks and a retroo celica ;)

Sachmo12345 01-05-2006 02:08 AM

that car was at the detroit auto show in 2003

5vz-fe 01-05-2006 02:10 AM

Yeah, that was a concept car with no interior, this is a pre-production model ready for 2007 model year.

This is going to be one of those love-it-or-hate-it designs.

I like the spirit in which it was intended, but I think they kind of lost it a bit along the way.

IIRC, the concept was more appealing to me.

Yeah definitely. I think the looks might be a joke, but the Off-Road capabilities of this truck will be top notch!

Akmon 01-08-2006 06:39 AM

I think it looks like crap, although these horrible look may be the guarantee for some great off-road performance.

5vz-fe 01-09-2006 02:40 AM

I think they don't really need the rear quater doors section......just chop the entire mid section out and u have the perfect FJ.

It looks like with proper color and AT tires, it doesn't look that bad at all. (well, at least IMO).

dutchmasterflex 03-31-2006 01:32 AM

Looks good to me, I'm sure black would look real nice.

I really wonder how this truck feels to drive..
