This is the first time I've seen a Vredestein tire on a car.

Vansquish 05-28-2008 04:28 PM

Initially thought it might be a Lister Jaguar...but it doesn't look like it on second thought...looks a bit like a Cooper T49 as well, but the headlights are wrong...it's obviously front-engined, Appears to be LHD with a fairing behind the driver's head, it either has a power buldge or an intake scoop on the bonnet and appears to have pontoon fenders out front with a reasonably narrow central air intake which is tapered towards the outer edges...

A Cunningham?

I thought of that too...but the problem with it being a Cunningham is that they had very distinctive shapes as far as I know...very AC Cobra-esque but with a bit more of a bluff front end...the central section of this car's front end is fairly low by comparison...

Pokiou 05-28-2008 09:13 PM

Its a kit car.. or its getting restored.. no roll bars on the back so it isnt a AC cobra.

Isnt a ferrari

Maybe a Porsche ?

Pokiou 05-28-2008 09:45 PM

I think this is it..

HeilSvenska 05-28-2008 09:50 PM

I don't think it's a kit car. Can we get some hints? ;-)

bluedemon 05-29-2008 12:33 AM

My first thought was an MG but I haven't a clue

Pokiou 05-29-2008 03:11 AM

i put my money on the Porsche

silentm 05-30-2008 09:43 AM

judging from the LHD it's probably a british car... but somehow the notion of a ferrari doesn't let me go

Nope, I don't think so...the D-type would've been RHD, and it didn't have a hood scoop...

The RSK had the engine in the back, not the front, and the fenders are the wrong shape...not to mention that the car in question has no turn signals/lights below the main beams on the fender, so I doubt it's the RSK.

sirstig 06-05-2008 01:59 AM

Is it a 250 Testarossa?

pristy 06-05-2008 07:49 AM

I think it is the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa you have right.

It could be...but I don't think so. The windscreen wraps around farther on the unknown car than on the 250TR, and the proportions of the headlight and fender aren't quite right. The hood scoop is also a different shape and doesn't extend as far on the 250 as far as I can tell...

arjun46 06-12-2008 08:55 AM

is it a porsche spider?????not sure...maybe yes...

F250 06-24-2008 03:11 AM

The car in the picture has bolt-on wheels with a 4 lug pattern. Not a Ferrari Testarossa or a '50s or '60s Porsche.

SHIZL 06-24-2008 10:32 AM
