Sweet pic

I think the saying, "There is no replacement for displacement" best describes American muscle.

Your Honda can't to this? This what? Bend the chassis????

It seems the cars is twisted...

Unless you're talking about the Grand National/GNX ;)

3.8L turbo V6 for the win.

Most of that is just the suspension.

No, it's the chassis.

The torque from the engine trying to spin off its mounts is actually twisting the car. Many a street car have been over build and under reinforced and ended up with one of the front wheels permanently frozen off the ground.

If you look at other dragsters, you'll see that the front wheels never come off the ground simultaneously. Always one side first.

haha, great picture

The pictures pure gold, but a Honda CAN do this, let me explain ;)

An owner of an Ariel Atom with a turbo charger, in place of the supercharger, pushing 450hp, was able to lift both wheels off the ground in a recent drag race (I think he did the quarter mile in about 9 seconds).

His front wheels stayed up all the way into third gear (the car has over 60 of the weight on the rear wheels), and since it's a Honda engine, one could say a Honda managed it off as well.

But agreed, it's not quite the same thing...
