I belive the Holdens still outsell the Fords, and have been for quite some time now....so they can't be that shit. I like the Ford aswell as the Holden, although I prefer to own Commodores over Falcons.

adlinyusman 05-19-2004 09:21 PM

yes too many commodores and yellow taxi falcons......bloody monotonic. the new breed of falcons are awesome. Especially that 'orange' one. Phwoar. Kicked my ass to 100 that day.

Hi all,

More pictures and info on the Falcon XR6 Turbo. 4litre inline 6 producing 240kw at the flywheel, 170-200 at the rears running 5psi of boost.

I have had some mods done to mine with a unichip, hi flo air filter and new injectors, est 290-300 at the flywheel, 230 at the rear running 9psi of boost.

Its very nice car man , which Ford is derived from ?

Master G 05-20-2004 04:19 AM

It is a version of the Ford Falcon which is only sold in Australia, the car is Aussie designed and built with something like 85% of components being locally produced. Ford have a number of Falcon models from the standard 6cyl 180kw, 8cyl 220kw, 6cyl Turbo 240kw 8cyl modified 260 and then the FPV Ford Performance Vehicles GT which has a modified 8cyl producing 290kw.
