The saloon version has killed the competition, now with a sportier coup version, is there competition in the luxury sports car market, I venture to say not.
It may even rival a 599 at pure track numbers. Mine is waiting for me (it may be waiting another year or so) to pick it up, and I can’t wait!!!

I like it very musuclar styling.

The styling is pretty awful in terms of it's front and rear but the side profile is nice and beefy. Numbers-wise it will go like stink, and in America it seems that's all that counts.

The front end seems incongruous to the clean cut design of the coupe. I frankly don't like how it looks. I'd rather prefer how the CTW-V would look, if they ever make one.

I doubt this car will do too well in this country. Welll, at least where I live. It's harder to find CLK coupes or 6-Series anymore. And I bet that's why this car's been on and off the table so much already.

Wagon is "go" and should be available as a V around the same time.

As to the Coupe being a success or failure; Priced and targeted at M3's and such... it's tough to say. The front end isn't as good as the rest of the car; but the V cars seem to do with far too much chicken-wire grates for my liking. That said, as an overall style, I love it. Time will tell how successful it is. GM is looking like it may take bailout no. 2 under Whitaker.

While the performance figures are highly impressive and I rather like the sedan, I am not a fan of the coupe's styling. It's a bit too derivative of the sedan, and the rear end is an odd shape with practically no rear visibility. Therefore, uncool.
