Top Gear - S15 EP03 - 11th July, 2010 - Discussion

Quote:

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May test the Aston Martin Rapide, the Porsche Panamera Turbo and the Maserati Quattroporte as they attempt to find the world's greatest four-seat supercar. Richard is also on the test track in two very different muscle cars, the Chevrolet Camaro SS and Mercedes E63 AMG. And there's a double dose of celebrity as Harry Potter star Rupert Grint and F1 ace Rubens Barrichello take their turns as the stars in the Reasonably Priced Car.
Looks like a really good episode :thumbup:

sounds like great ep indeed! still waiting for an 458 Italia and Merc SLS AMG review though...

Best ep of the series in my opinion. I thought it was kinda silly comparing the Merc and the Camaro. Its twice the car for twice the price? Then why compare them? One is a 2 door muscle car and the other is a high end sedan. That part was a bit daft but.......

Im glad they all agree with me that the Panamera is hideous, the part with Ken Block rolling the robin was great, and jeremy shuushing james when the maserati goes around the course...priceless. "ohhhhh ive had a crisis!"

Very stupid comparison! Camaro SS vs E63 AMG ? Really ? Why didnt they try the CTS-V ? because they hate American cars so much, the Camaro is a good car, I know its not perfect but top gear is mostly about the show with nice cars, and fucking haters driving.

Guys relax, you have to remember that this is a very biased show, it may have started about car reviews but now it's more about entertianment and getting more viewers so whatever's entertaining, that's what they go with.

IMO, it was the best of the season, can't wait to see more like it

Jeremy seems to be hitting on women on TV more often than ever.
