ZR-1 is top of the hill again

Loved the sound of that push rod V8...

I love this car so much that it has almost bumped the Ruf rt12 from the top of my "Dream Car' list.

Some of the speeds he is carrying are ludicrous... I love it! I can't help but notice this time around, they are able to use those higher revs without as much wheelspin :)

The cup tires definitely helps. This guy's shifting is very good.
It's amazing how the car takes on bumps so stable.

The tyres account for almost all the improvements. They (GM) suggest otherwise but the speeds don't lie ;)

pitfield 06-10-2011 06:35 PM

I hear that it's compromised massively for use on the road. They would say that though.

I read on one forum some guy who said "I wouldn't want to use the Cup tires on the road!" Where somebody with a GT3 with Cup tires chimed in saying he drove in rain/shine just fine for the last 24,000 miles with them.

Corvette won Le Mans 2011 just saying

As long as it's not below 10C, club tires are quite drivable even in the rain. 24k seems abit extreme tho.
