- again, stunning composition, perfectly sharp, and a nice racer too. 3 pts. RC45, Lotus Exige Mk II - very nice color, and a beauty of a car from all angles! nice setting on the curbing. the land is a bit flat for my tastes, but it sure looks fun! 2 pts. salegosse, Ferrari 360 Modena - I've found it hard to make the ass of the F360 look good, and you've done it... although, i really dont like the painted ground effects. 1 pts. Darkel, Ford GT40 - even so far away, its nice. the curb draws the attention to the lead car. too bad there is so much empy space |

Ouch, this month is worst than last one: more pics, and even better quality.
After an early check I still had 10 pics to which I wanted to give points, cutting down to 4 wasn't an easy task: 5 pt - Maou - I adore this picture, as simple as that. More light would have ruined it! 3 pt - salegosse - beautifully executed, simple and clean! 2 pt - Davide - MC12 racer on the street is something rare, this evening pic has a great feeling in it 1 pt - dani_d_mas - A Lusso waiting to hit the track, pure sex Congrats everybody! Basically every pic has the potential to get some points! |

Wow...there are sooo many good ones to choose from! Here's my choices:
#1 - 5pts. - MartijnGizmo, Ferrari F40 I like this one the most beacause it gives me the sense of isolation. Granted, there are two people in the car, the single F40 brings back ideas of "single-ness" and function after form. It's a bit hard to explain, but it gives me that feeling that the F40 is still one in its own, even in todays world of extreme machines. #2 - 3pts. - The Transporter, Lamborghini Gallardo Spider I chose this as my second picture because without the top, you really see the lines that go down the side of the car and the great lines the car actually carries. #3 - 2pts. - ae86_16v, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren I like this one because it's a good angle. The scene it depicts for me, is hi-class and Beverley Hills, which is somewhat oxymoronic with a car with such incredible performance figures. I also like the reflections in the paint, showing how "deep" it is. #4 - 1pts. - pterps, Honda Racing F1 Team RA106 I like the angle on this one a lot. From the top, you can really appreciate the lines that these guys take, cutting everything as closely as possible, trying to get that slightest advantage over the competitor. The composition in this picture w/ the background is perfect. 2 pts - dingo "Aston Martin Vantage" *Great panning shot. Awesome car. Great work. 1 pt - Maou "Noble M12 GTO" *Great location. but anyway here is my vote: 5pt eurocopter, 1967 Ford Mustang (The shot is excelent, the angle, color, setting all work toghether) 3pt MIHALS, Ferrari 355 (the backround goes nicely with the car, but one let down is the visual angle of the car) 2pt TT, Ford Focus ST (not a fan of the car in any way, but the backround has a nice contrast with the car) 1pt ae86_16v, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (yet again not a fan of the car, but the location fits the car perfectly, and the angle show the car well) BTW TT, if we're voting for 4 people, shouldn't we have 4 winer results on the main page? :? |

5 points - Pterps for Jenson Button @ Monaco. Perfect shot - interesting overhead angle. Was this at the chicane after the tunnel.
3 points - Yacouba - Lancia Stratos. The shot is awesome - one can imagine the Stratos about to launch itself down the strip. Rarity of car is a huge plus too 2 points - Maou - Noble M12. Damn, that was hard!!! So many high quality pics... I could have at least picked 8.
1st - 5 pts: MartijnGizmo - F40. This picture gives me goosebumps. I was there that day, but when I look at the picture it seems it was taken at a different time. It oozes atmosphere and looks like it's made with just black, white, red and blue. 2nd - 3 pts: eurocopter - Mustang. In a book on Mustangs this picture wouldn't look out of place. The nice background makes it hard date, which gives the pic an authentic feel. 3rd - 2 pts: yacouba - Stratos. The colours of the car almost blend in with the background and all the lines - including the car's - seem pointed towards the same imaginary point outside the frame. 4th - 1 pt: MIHALS - F355. Although it's quite a busy background the car still draws the attention. Great angle for the F355 as well! Smylait took fantastic pictures at Viva Italia, but I didn't find this one very special. Too bad... :( sentra_dude, you know there's not only an F355 in your picture, but the Le Mans winning 330 TRI as well, right? :wink: |
Eurocopter - 5pts. It's nice to a muscle car nominated. Stiff competition against the 200 mph club of supercars, but the Mustang got the ball rolling for the American Horsepower Wars.
RC45 - 3pts. Expensive cars in remote areas...novel concept. ae86_16v - 2pts. while the car itself isn't very exciting, it contrasts well with it's background. cowboy007 - 1pt. Nurburgring shots are always appreciated. |
