Aren't the wheels a little to big? Or did they actually improve the offroad performance?
And why do you have the plate also wrote on the bonnet? :D |
The size of the tires is 255/60/16. It's 16' wheels, i prefer this size of wheels to the road because the jeep doesn't have much stability and this helps a little bit. The next step is to change the brake discs/pads and the suspension.
These tires are only for road, i have another set of tires to go off-road (mud tires) in 15' wheels. The plate written on the bonnet, was just an experience =) in the next days will go off. probably it will have another plate on the bonnet but in sticker. Well see later =) |
You can legally use stickers in Portugal? Here sadly they are allowed only for boats :|
|
We can use stickers, but for the plates I think that has to have the legal plate too =\ or else you can get a fine.
normally, the cops doesn't look much, but if they send you to pull over, you'll get a fine. There are special cases, I don't know if the size of the sticker is like the plate or bigger, if they say something. as for the other type of stickers like I have in the back, we can use =) |
Sure, I was meaning if you can have stickers with your plate on them instead of the normal plate. Of course "normal" stickers are allowed here, but noway you can have a sticker as license plate.
|
I don't know very well about that, normally the sticker plater here are only used to competition cars. In road use, you get a fine.
I know some guys that have sticker plates and never get a fine because of that, probalby just luck =) |

Yep, sorry about the confusion, I was working and I get confused lol =P
|
nice ride, looks kinda tipsy tho... ever had it on 2 wheels? or upsidedown for that matter?
|
The motor is already inside, i'll take some pictures from the engine bay next time =)
it's very easy to turn this upside down, it is very unstable but when you get used to you don't notice how much unstable it is. Kinda funny for some powerslide =P |
Quote from instruction booklet Suzuki SJ410:
"Do NOT turn steering wheel while moving. Car might roll over." |
LOLOL
I don't have the booklet, so I can turn eheh =P |
Here's some new pictures of the engine and some pictures of the project to the tablier =)
