And fucking fast to boot it's power to weight ratio is better than veyron.
With a few tweaks it could be very good road legal competion for time attack or hill climb events etc.

Tweaks, what tweaks does it need ?....

That is plenty of reason to put it in the jdm section.

the ronin 01-14-2010 07:59 PM

But I built the system [body/engine/gearbox] in Ca. Then it may as well be domestic US...

No one will ever look for a Lotus in the JDM section....

Take a closer look at the engine pic and video....It is compound charged, supercharged and turbo.... MP62 SC and GT3076R turbo total 30 psi. with air/water chargecooler...:-)

That's an awful lot of boost in there! Are you running C16; i'd say definitely not CA 91 octane!

Nothing like blue printed, polished, balanced engine... cams, etc. etc. ?

Are you trying to suggest that an Exige isn't built in Japan FOR Japan?

It must be a weapon of mass distriction in the curvy canyon roads
Would in beat a veyron the canyon's?
And will you enter some competition events whit the beast in the future like hill climb or time attack?

the ronin 01-16-2010 01:00 AM

I do hill climbs every time I take it for a drive, I have no need to compete with anyone to see who can go around in circles faster...I prefer 150 mi. drives with hundreds of different corners.... I have nothin to prove to anyone.....

So far I haven't come across anyone that can keep up....

How about a superbike would that keep up whit you?
And it must be fun kowing that you have a car that will murder anyting in the canyons.

The only bikers I've met that wanted to run with me soon gave up after a few min. They realise it's not worth the risk when riding 10/10 in the canyons with dirt and on coming traffic.....Superbikes have too much power it the tight stuff and would break their tires loose too many times, now some of the supermotard guys are good but they can't keep up if there are long straights.....so If I stay in the twisties I'm cool...

the ronin 01-22-2010 10:35 PM

That's kinda what I do with it, minus the competition aspect....
It's just my sports car nothing more, I don't race anyone..

Thats the beauty of it. You can enjoy your car; and there are no ulterior motives; trash talk, or "sandbagging." Just motoring in it's purest!
