NHL playoffs: Toronto vs. Ottawa
 

i know we have alot of members here from ontario, so who is everyone picking for this series? i m saying Toronto has got the depth to go far this year! but it is too bad they had to play ottawa in the first round, they are a very good team. too bad they will be golfing by the end of april :wink: :D

Ottawa!!! I just never liked the Leafs for some reason. It seems like the Eastern conference has all the good games in game 1.

With the exception of the Avs and the Stars in the west.

toronto will play philly or NJ in the second round i think, so they do have there work cut out for em! but belfour is hotter than hell right now and i think this series is in the bag!GO LEAFS GO! :D

Leafs definitely, especially if they eventually get everyone back and Belfour keeps forgetting he is not infact GOD.

I know it's weird for a north carolina kid to be interested in hockey, but o well. I think which ever team wins that series will win the cup. These are two excellent hockey teams. It's a pity they have to play eachother first round.

big game tonite, toronto got there ass handed to em. sundin is hurt, newendyk is fucked, i think we might be in trouble, game 5 we need eddie to play god again. things arent looking good IMO :( :( :(

I didnt watch the whole game but I saw the first two goals for the Leafs. Great game and we didnt even have Sundin!

WOw, I was in the suburbs and there were kids with flags at most major intersections.....NUTS

that game 7 couldnt have ended more approprietly IMO. i watched it... started @ 10:30p EST, and ended about 1:15a.... i didnt at all expect it to be such a clincher in the least. i must say that i am glad that the avalanch arent playing detroit just yet... good to see the originals in the playoffs most definately :)

yeah, D-town's suberbs are quite similar when there is a major victory. god i love hockey :-)

Aye... I was hoping that the Sens would win or at least it would be a close game. 4:1... that's sad. But Belfour is the only reason that Toronto has made it so far. The players aren't playing that great, except for Domi.

w00t! I was rooting for Toronto hehe...should make for more interesting playoffs. I'm looking for the Avs to beat the Sharks, the Wings to beat Calgary, Toronto to beat Philly, and I'd really like to see Montreal beat the Lightning, but my hopes will probably come to naught.

I don't think Toronto will beat philly if they continue to just rely on Belfour, but regardless that will be a good series. I think Tampa will probably beat Montreal, but I can't wait for the western confrence final which I hope will by the wings vs. the avs.

The Wings/Avs thing is getting a bit old for me...I'd like to see someone else playing the Wings. Who knows!?! I don't really think that Tampa or Philly are going to be defeated, but I'd like to see it, it would add an element of uncertainty to the playoffs.

"its only the second period lotsa time left dont get ur hopes up" my response: " u see eddie adjust to make that tip save with his pad? hes fuckin ON THE BALL this game is over! YAHHHHHEER" now lets hope we see a little more effort from all the leafs this next series cause eddie cant beat philly by himself! DOMI is the man his ice time is up 50% ! go domi go eddie GO LEAFS GO!
