there will be a Gallardo Roadster, im also thinking maybee a striped down track version aswell..

After these guys released the Murcielago, I fell in love with it's shape. It is the most beautiful car (IMO) and I cannot believe them releasing a better looking car. Anyway, the Gallardo was released soon after the Murcielago and it turned out to be worse (in many reviews and track expreiences I have seen). I suppose it will take some time before they release a new model.

I think enough trucks and suvs are out there. It was really wierd of Porsche for making one, and now maybe Lambo too? I dont like this.

Lambo already has an SUV, and its badass... they dont need a new one! Its an awesome SUV too, because its a real man's car, not like the new soccer-mom car-based crap thats out there now.

lamborgini wants to make a suv to increase it's sales,like porsche did.did you notice how many cayenne's were sold out there since it was launched?they go for the american market,americans like suvs very much,they want to be higher than other people are with their cars.it is in fashion now to be higher than everyone else!havent u seen the sales of the hummer h2?in fact only 1 on the 20 that buy it really need it,the rest want to feel that they are someone else!ohh cmon!!

Lambo shold not be having problems selling cars at the moment. They've released multiple cars in the last 2 or 3 years alone, with variations on those in development and for sale relatively soon. Not to mention, for it to sell, they are going to have to price it relatively low. Nobody is going to pay $180,000 for an SUV with no credibility. If they do that though, then they cheapen the Lamborghini namesake and they seem less exotic.

If Lambo does make and release one... Shame on them. It's all been downhill since VW bought them.

disagreed, the performance is great, and the looks are fantastic. id say they are a modern sleeker looking diablo... sorta. however, i think the gallardo is a little more influenced by audi's boxish styling. another thing VW has done for lambo is reliablity... not to mention sales are great as aformentioned.

i do agree that making a Urban UV is a bad move, and cirtainly wouldnt be the first suv they have made (with a friggin V12!!)

I was reading a rumour that it be based on a VW/Audi SUV and more a rebadged car than a real lambo?

They just start these kind of "stories" to see ppl's reaction, and also to get
noticed and talked about, I don't think they'll produce that SUV any time soon.
