im not really a fan of the mustang,but the 2003 cobra doesnt slouch,as u will see.i have shown TT this vid and he was also amazed

He didn't go top speed...aa..disappointed, really wanted to know how fast it would go...but still 155mph is still pretty fast, and true the acceleration is amazing, but I hate superchargers, that cat whining noise they make...but anyways still impressed by that peice of american iron..

I drove in one at the Leguna Seca Champ Cart race this year, it was one of the pace cars. Forgot to add in the Supercharger ya annoying but thats FORD

Umm what year was the Cobra? before '03 with the exact same body it didn't have the supercharger and if it's an '03-'04 w/out a blower it's a Mach 1 basically. (yes there are some big differences)

And that Cobra was not stock I've been in a few stock ones and they aren't that loud unless he had the windows down but it didn't sound like it he probably had an intake at the least, an intake on a Supercharger changes the way the car sounds more than on any other type of car I've ever heard. And yes Cobra's are fast as hell for the price, if you can't afford a Z06 buy a Cobra, not a haridressers car as RC calls it.

That thing deffinately has a pulley on it, i've never seen a stock cobra pull like that, but great engine none the less, very easy car to get into the 10's.

the supercharger is loud on this and from reading since then the supercharger is different i think,apparently sumthin by Kenne bell or sumthin is an upgrade and that makes it even louder

That is so NOT stock guys. I've driven the F150 Lightning which has a supercharger and it wasn't anywhere near as loud.

However, having seen this video I am extremely tempted to try one of these Cobras out!

RC was asking if I would be buying another V8...If I get my visa extended then I might just have to have one of these monsters...

haha well i would have to say that would be a great choice :mrgreen: transam2001. they really are amazing cars for the money, and a car that i want to own in the near future (a lot of the links i post in the american section are of these cobras :P ).

the 03-04 cobra's are pretty underrated from the factory, putting down anywhere from 340 to 370 rwhp stock from what i have read. they also respond very well to simple mods i.e. exhaust, cai, pully, tune yields 450+ rwhp. the motors are already built from the factory (i.e. come with a forged bottom end that can handle laods of hp with a proper tune/supporting mods) and many people are seeing close to 600rwhp by upgrading the stock blower to a kenne bell or whipple without ripping apart their motor. nice post, even if it as over a year ago lol :D

edit: here is a link i posted a few months ago of a kb cobra (in the american video section), at the end of the video he does some runs from around 40 to 130, in similar fashon to the video gis posted :D

And that turbo seemed to be almost blowing up :lol: Such a loud noise!

dude that wasn't a Turbo that was the amazing sound of a Supercharger.
